Helping a busy mum stretch her child’s NDIS funding
Nina is a busy mum with three children including Suzy who receives NDIS funding to support her mental health. Nina originally chose self-management because she wanted control over her daughter’s support. Nina quickly realised she didn’t have time to pay the bills, track the funding and claim NDIS reimbursements. Nina needed to make sure that Suzy’s services were uninterrupted. She was always worried about having enough money in the budget to cover Suzy’s providers. We worked with Nina to take the stress out of the budgeting and tracking process, making sure that Suzy’s needs would be met.
Nina still has control over the services Suzy receives and who provides the services. Now she also has more time to support Suzy and take care of her children.

David and Elissa’s son Marcus is autistic and has specialised education needs. During COVID-19 lockdowns Marcus was unable to attend his school. David and Elissa were burnt out from looking after Marcus 24 hours a day. They were unaware of changes to NDIS funding during COVID.
